Default about disputing speeding tickets...

i'm curious...from those of you who have done it successfully before, what is the best way to go about doing this? i've also heard a rumor that if you dispute it and you have no moving violations for a certain amount of time after (3 months?) they drop it. true?

www.motorists.com has an excellent "Legal Defense Kit" which I will be renting in order to blow away my most recent speeding ticket (radar on a busy road).

Speeding tickets are possible to successfully dispute and get out of if you have half a clue and have done your homework. It's not totally easy, but neither are making payments on car insurance that has doubled for the next three years. Take your pick.

if he clocked you with a radar gun and its within 10 miles of the speed limit you can dispute it because the guns arent accurate enough to give a reading. however if he paced you, your screwed, and if its a CO Springs cop, dont even worry about it, theyre ********. I got hit and run, and the cop didnt even take a damn police report, and my car was basically disabled. had to drive it at 5mph for about 2 miles to my house probably damaging it more, thank god it was only my 91 legacy.
