Default '12 fog lights leaking?

installed 3k hids in my fogs just for some yellow light. noticed that they have had condesation and small amounts of water on the bottom of the lenses. ive trippled checked that the bulbs are in correctly. only thing i can come across is i bought a cheap Hid kit for them. maybe its a smaller size H11 bulb then stock so its not making a 100% closed fit..... anyone else run into this issue? ive been drying out the lenses and reinstalling and making sure its all in and tight..

i just placed an order for The Retrofit Source bulbs... going to dry them out once more and install those and see where it gets me....

anyone feel free to chim in if its something obvious im missing....

How did you dry them out? If you are drying them out in a warm garage, sealing them and then going outside, you are probably trapping moisture in them.

I had the same problem because I changed the bulbs on a hot, humid day. Dried them out on a cool day and voila, problem solved.

i took the whole glass piece out of the car, the two bolts and yeah turned it upside down and used a cool setting on a hair dryer to really dry it and let it sit over night in my garage face down to justget it all out.
