Default Wheel powdercoating in Boston metro area

Hey guys, just picked up a new (to me) set of summer whees (Gram light 57DRs) and I'm looking to get them powder coated locally. Most of them threads I found on NASIOC were a few years old and none of them suggested places in/around Boston. I live downtown but commute to Westborough for work so anywhere along 90 would be ideal... worst case I can always have my roommate drop them else somewhere else.

I'd be looking for a place that can also do mild rim repair (1 has a decent curb on it) and dismount & remount/balance the tires after powder coating. It looks like Pike Powdercoating is local but I would like to see what other options there are.

So, any suggestions?

Thanks!!

I'd give Prospec Quincy a call. Brian can help you.

Or, it's bit out there but Good Hues in NH. They are always slammed but quality is A+.

Hope this helps. Congrats on the new wheels.

Wow. Wheels came out fantastic. I will highly recommend Brian & ProSpec to anyone else looking to get their wheels powder coated. The blue is spot on.

They charge $500 for powder coating a basic colour (fortunately mag blue is "basic") + $80 for dismount/mounting and balance.

I also got the black metal Rays valve stems installed and the curbing fixed but that was extra... found out a second wheel had a slight bend so I had to get 2 wheels repaired.

I myself are looking for some wheel repair.

I called Prospec and they said they do not repair wheels?

Did I get the right people?

http://www.prospecautosport.com/

phone: -617-479-1051

Other option was RIM PRO but they are like over an hour drive and they are not even open on Saturday.

Any input appreciated.

Hm that's weird. Yes that's the same Prospec I used for my wheels. I know that they don't do the wheel repair themselves but outsource it. Maybe since they aren't doing anything else (i.e. powder coating or new tires) they don't want to do it since they won't actually be making any money off it.
