Default I saw some interesting things at the dealer lot

The 2003 Legacys were at the dealer when I swung by the lot today.

I noticed a couple of interesting things(I wish I had a digital camera-I'm looking for one right now at Buy.com):

1. The badge on the front of the new Legacys is the same size as the 2002 WRX but the background is dark blue instead of dark gray and the six stars are linked together instead of seperate. I looks very sweet. As a side note the Forrester emblem is bigger than these and also has a blue background(I dont know what the old size was.)

2. There were 2 L model Legacys with a value package on them which included the following:
a. leather-wrapped wheel and knob
b. GT wheels
c. power moonroof(dual on the wagon)
d. projector beam headlights
That may not seem that interesting except for the sedan this package costs $500 and for the wagon its $900. This is about a $1500 discount on these options seperately. So you can get an L model with all the good GT options and a stick shift for a street price right at 20k including delivery.

This should put to rest the ideas that a turbo model Legacy would be out of sight pricewise I think. These are fine days we're living in my friends.

I went by my dealer Saturday to get a look at the new models but they didn't have any Sedans. Only Outback wagons. They where nice. They said the L and GT would hit the lot this week.

I dropped by my local dealer over the weekend and found what I thought was a new 2003 GT but to my surprise it was the package mentioned above. They are calling it the special edition package, and in my opinion it is a very nice setup. The only thing I seen amis from the car appearance wise was the lack of sideskirts. I didn't think much about the spoiler because many GT's don't come with one but I felt it would definately enhance the package had it been included. Right now I am waiting for Subaru to change their website so I can find out more. I may just trade the ole RS in on a more practical car, besides the RS brings out the devil in me .
