2016 WR Blue WRX #7

Have a Nice Day? So who in Beaverton, Oregon wrecked their 99 Blue 2.5RS?

I was at Carr Subaru talking with the service manager when he said he had something to show me.... Took me around back to a 99 Blue 2.5RS coupe. This was a very nice looking car, it had the 17" Gold 6 spoke wheels, suspension, white WRX decals, WRX body pieces, WRX wing, etc. I was actually considering purchasing this car when it was forsale at Wentworth Subaru, but got the real WRX instead.

Anyways, I was impressed at the damage this car sustained. The service manager said the car nailed one of those tiny concrete road dividers (no more then 3-5 inches tall) at a high speed. Overall the body panels didn't look to bad, they were all intact. At a distance you wouldn't even be able to tell the car was damaged. But a closer look would tell you the car got into something nasty. The only real visible body damage is the front passenger fender is buckled in right before the door. Looks like it nailed one of those up right round barriers. Other then that the front fender wheel well forward is ok.... the only other visible damage is the front spoiler was ripped off. NOW!!!! the fun stuff ALL FOUR WHEELS are pointing in whatever direction. It looks like the driver nailed the concrete, but continued right over it nailing anything and everything under neath. The front wheels looked visibly damaged and had flat tires. The rears I think had flats and the wheels looked somewhat bent. But all 4 struts looked bent, the front wheels were pushed touching the body, while the rear wheels looked like they had massive camber problems. The front subframe was destroyed, never seen one that mangled.

Now the worst of the worst, which is barely visible... the frame is bent along the passenger side center support. You can barely see were the roof meets the center support were the frame/body buckled. Unfortunately this one looks like a write off.... Too bad, it was one nicest looking Imprezzas I've seen.
