Default ECUflash connection issue.

04 sti

Busted finger motorsports 1.3u cable
Toshiba Satellite laptop, windows 7 64 bit....

Heres my issue, everytime i try to connect to my ecu i get this error message

Ive uploaded ecuflash on 3 different laptops and its all the same message, the cable isnt the problem, it worked perfectly on a friends laptop, but wont for mine...

any tips?? Ive restarted my laptop after installing any drivers, ive read about 64 bit causing an issue, but most people get a solid connection right away..

FIXED

Downgraded to 1.29 version again and now it works like a charm....
