Default Exterior Shining / Waxing / Detail

My car needs to get revived on the outside. I will be taking it to a local shop who I know for a long time, they do awesome work imo. I need to get it detailed, waxed, shined, the whole packaged. But I'm not sure if I should do it now, since the fall-winter is coming. Would it be dumb if I get it detailed this month? My car doesnt sit outside over night, it sits in a shed kinda thing next to my house

Do it now. Waxing is to protect your paint from elements. Shine is just an icing on the cake...

Clay-bar the car before you wax. Trust me, it makes all the difference.

like said above, before winter is the best time. Have them use a syn wax as it will last longer then a natural wax.

Synthetic Wax. ^

If they don't know what synthetic wax is, I wouldn't let them detail your car.
