Default pinstripes, IMPREZA sticker gone, but the paint is faded underneath

So I finally got around to removing my crappy looking pinstripes completely. My GF peeled off the actual stripe part, and the glue and residue was left. I used some Goof Off to get rid of the rest of the glue and crap. I thought I ruined my paint at first, but some paint cleaner took off the leftover residue left by the Goof Off. It looks a lot better from far away, but up close you can see some light red stripes left where the plastic pinstripes were. Looks kinda stupid.
Same thing with the IMPREZA sticker on the trunk. Peeled it off and used the Goof Off to remove the glue. Cleaned it up with paint cleaner but it's faded. Not good. Any suggestions?

Default I used wd-40 first to remove the residue and....

then did a complete detailing. I had the vinyl decals for over a year, so if you look at the car in an angle, you can still see the area where the letters came from. If you don't look for it, you can't even see it.

A good detailing shop with a polisher should be able to remove the residue and mark completely.

Good luck.

Those marks may be from UV fading... just a though. I that case you can't get rid of them, short of re-painting.
