Default Looking for tips on uninstalling an Apexi S-AFC...

Just bought one off of a friend parting out his RS. Is there anything I should look out for when uninstalling it? If I reversed the intruction steps would that be enough to uninstall it properly? Can I just cut the wires before the splicing into the ecu, and then reset his ecu?? I was hoping it would be easy, but I think its going to be a pain

Now I just need to jump on thar $309 borla header deal

It is my beleif that if the person you are buying the S-AFC from installed it properly, it should be quite easy. The installation package that comes with the S-AFC includes male an female connectors for the MAP/MAF sensor wire, so you will be able to just reconnect the two factory wires after uninstalling. As for the other wires, it depends on how well they were spliced in. Hopefully, you will be able to just remove them at a plug end, otherwise I suggest cutting the S-AFC wires very close to the splice and make sure you insolate them well. Then, reset the computer by removing the (-) lead for about an hour-hour and a half. Enjoy!
