Question differences between 2.5L and 2.0L

i just wanted to ask some of you who have upgraded to a 2.5L (sti) froma 2.0L

is there a huge difference? i have done all my research and test drove 3 different cars. i have a 2002 wrx, i drove a peanut eye, and an 06 (sti). and honestly i didnt feel much of anything. i just drove an 06 evo and felt a large difference.

any advice from you guys? im looking to buy a new car is why, or invest in my current.

You can't compare an evo to an sti or wrx. They are two different platforms, they might be awd turbo cars but really they are different.

- More low end
- More power potential
- More fuel efficient (due to longer stroke of the motor)
- Lower revving

- More top end
- Less power potential
- Higher Revving
