![]() ![]() Top Scoob is looking for the ultimate Tarmac Race Car. To be eligible for this round your car must be a Proper Race Car. Time attack, Touring Cars, and Grand Touring GT cars only please. Drivers or Teams can enter their respective machines. If you have a question about the eligibility of your car please just ask me! Racing is tough business. I remember a hardcore bracket racer once telling me that a great season for him was breaking even. Most racers I'm sure have heard a variation of the joke about how to make a small fortune in motor racing...by starting with a large one. With that in mind I'm allowing a two year bubble for cars that still have some fight left in them but are currently in recovery. ![]() Quote:
So if you think your car has what it takes enter right here and good luck! ![]()

![]() Alright, I purchased my 2006 WRX in August of 2006 with thoughts of it being my daily driver. I wanted an STi but it just wasn't feasible at the time. From day one I had started modding the car, first started with the normal exhaust and intake which had been swapped over from my previously modified 2005 4EAT WRX. So here it is today. Trailer queen non streetable track car. I've put every time into making this car where I want it and I am not sure if it will ever get there haha.
After a couple turbo upgrades: 18g, Dominator 3 and lots of beating the living hell out of it the stock engine finally got tired and fell asleep as well as a couple stock 5spds. This is when the larger modifications started to come into play. A Cosworth longblock was purchased along with the APS TSR70 turbo kit and other needed bolt ons. I was power hungry, but who isn't. After I did all this I started getting sick of the car and sold it to a local friend. Then bought it back because of regret aaand then sold it again and bought it back. After a few months of giving the guy I sold it to hell. I finally decided I would keep the car seeing how I owned it there was really no good reason to sell it. After a couple more years I had the car featured in Modified magazine, not only a feature but cover and a cheesy one at that. Not sure how it made cover but I couldnt be happier ![]() After purchasing my 2008 STi dumping some money into it then making my WRX into a full time race car it was finally time to call it quits as a super fast, caged, fun street car. I'm not too good at telling stories about it but here is my 2006 WRX. The car is raced in a local series here at Miller Motorsports Park called Lap Battle. I am still learning the car as I have built it beyond my ability to drive it, it scares me but it's still really fun and has been decently reliable and does well at the race track I'm not too good at telling stories about it but here is my 2006 WRX. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() [IMG] ![]() Here is a list of the few current modifications. ![]() Well I think we've made the masses wait long enough to start voting!
12 proper race cars, okay, 11 and one 1 crazy Canadian, covering everything from club racing to hill climbs, GC to GR, almost sane to completely mental. Turn in Concepts and mpj_becks (GST Motorsports) still need to flush out their entries please ![]() Also since we're not at our usual 25 cars we're going to do only two rounds, the first to pick the Top Three, then the Top Scoob Finals as always. I'll open the polls at 1:00pm PST today ![]() Thanks to all our entrants and Good Luck! |
