I've been told by my machinist that a small amount of oil accumulation around that is normal...

have you done at least a compression or leak down?

have you pulled the turbo to see if those seals are leaking (provided you have a turbo car)?

I've never used the Supertech seals. It could be a bad set of seals.

Have you looked into a bad turbo seal or an improperly set up crankcase ventilation set-up?

I agree. You may want to check and make sure your PCV system is working properly. It sounds like your crankcase is building pressure and its forcing oil out thru the exhaust guides.

PCV system hoses tend to harden by the age due to heat and they somehow make worst seal on connections. can it make vacuum leaks in ventilation system>pressure in crankcase>oil burning?

when I was reassembling pcv hoses, they were hardened like a plastic and they were loose on connections

PCV is probably your problem

You check the valve stem to guide clearance?

Valve guide issues are usually noted when the car sits at idle for a while and you rev it. It will billow smoke.

black smoke means unburnt fuel.....is it really black or is it blue?
How much oil are you burning? Like in 1k miles....

Black smoke =fuel
Blue smoke = oil
White smoke/steam = coolant /water

my pvc system is vented to the atmosphere. i got 2 line from the valve cover and one from the pvc nibble . I check the guide to valve clearance and it about .003-.004 thou . I also looked at the valve today all 4 cylinder burn oil pretty evenly .The carbon build up is on the valve face not on the stem so it probably not the guide. maybe thru the ring ? compression and leak down are good
