Default Preston and Steve Campout for Hunger 2011

Anyone planning on going or has gone this year? Sad to see that these meets fizzled out. I remember going back in 05-ish when the event was much smaller. Preston and Steve gave us a bunch of beers and they actually let us go on the air. I still remember Preston's disbelief that there was such a thing as a performance Subaru, let alone entire clubs devoted to them.

I normally go every year, but my work schedule won't allow it this year.

I went last night and caught the tail end of Christmas Vacation. It was cold as balls and the line to meet the P&S crew was super long so I didn't even try. The wife and I donated two bags to food too.

Very noble cause. Those guys bring in tens of thousands of pounds of food. I have met them at other events, and they are quite down to earth, nice people. I bet that if someone shot them an email and told them that a ton of Subies were coming with food that they would figure out some way to get people on air / make mention of the group.

I was there as a volunteer hauling and boxing donations. It was a good time with some of my Navy buddies. They were also sponsored by Subaru and had two of the new Imprezas on display right outside of their tent.
