Default O2 Sensor. Does not fit

I just ordered my 2nd O2 sensor and it still will not fit.

(from *Rockauto* DENSO Part # 2349122 OE Style
DENSO is the O.E. Manufacturer / Air Fuel Ratio Sensor; Upstream)
The red circles show 2 tabs on the current sensor that the new one does not have.
The new one is the blue one.

Do I have the wrong one? It was far less expensive the the other sensor which was $230
I only paid $130.
I understand you get what you pay for but you would think it would at least fit.

2005 92x Linear (impreza rs ) BTW

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I picked electrical because I am thinking some one swapped my harness or something.

Is the length of wire between the sensor and connector the same? If not it's probably the wrong one.

Looks like you need the Denso # 2349123.

OK buy Nates beans

there are upstream and downstream sensors

dont try to use one for the other....wont work

do NOT buy ANY 'universal fit' o2 sensor for your subaru....odds of it working properly are VERY slim
