Default Fuel nozzle clicks off repeatedly

When I try to fuel up my 2006 WRX, if the handle is squeezed to full rate or anything above a trickle, the pump clicks off. It ends up taking over 10 minutes to get somewhere close to a full tank. Usually I only get to half or 3/4 full. I had a CEL P1443, replaced the evap vent valve and it went away. Still have the fueling problem. While replacing the evap vent valve, I also blew compressed air through the lines...Any suggestions? Could it be the gas tank vent valve? I hope not.

The gas tank vent valve is one of the first things I'd check ...

I've had a number of premature pump shut-offs recently, but none have been as horrific as when the vent valve didn't want to work anymore...

I'd have to "top off" about 120 times just to get half a tank... Then had the shop replace that valve ... it works fine now, but I think my failed charcoal canister messed things up with charcoal powder before I could get it replaced, so I probably have to clean that system yet again for fuel-ups to be completely effortless again. >.<

You're putting it in too far. Slow down, there homeslice. Just put the tip in. No premature shut down.
