Just got back from watching tennis in Montreal and all I have to say is: are all you guys crazy drivers? That highway 40 makes the 401 look like a side street. Also are the cars sold there issued without turn signals and mirrors?

Alot of us remove the mirrors. They hook too many bikers on the really small streets.
Turn signals? Nobody uses them anyway.

That's Montreal..... expect everyone to cut you off..... but it's not that bad cause you know what everyone is doing....

You have to love the fact that it's a 70 km/h zone and everyone is doing 110-130km/h...

Are you saying that in Ottawa most drivers are complete morons and it's impossible to know what they are doing? Well I am...

I was living in Montreal but moved to Ottawa two years ago. I prefer highly aggressive driving in Montreal than sleeeeping at the wheel driving in Ottawa with morons who can't stay in their lane!

:monkey: Ottawa drivers! :monkey: :monkey:

Yup.... Ottawa you never know what you're going to get....

Perfect example going to my house is this country road of 80km/h but you always get one slowpoke doing 65km/h and it's impossible to pass..... then they get into the village of Cumberland and speed up to 70km/h in a 50 zone....

No proper signals, tailgating, driving in the improper lanes on Queensway (staying in left lane while you have to pass in the right lane).... etc......

Speeding on sunny days (125+ on Queensway) but a slight rain fall and everyone is doing 90-100...... or 30-50 when snowing....

I could go on but it's to easy....... I would like the province to have license retesting every 5 years..... cause as it states:

"driving is a priviledge, not a right".........

BTW, you can pass on a double lane in Ontario.... it's not against the law..... the double lane is only pass under caution...... but note, if you can see a 1km in distance and there's nothing coming, go ahead and pass.... but if you're coming to blind corner..... simply follow the traffic..... and wait....

Crazy? Why do you think Quebec auto insurance won't allow right turns on red lights? Nobody has a clue how to turn right without using two to three lanes wide; they'd never be able to merge properly with perpendicular traffic.
