Default Spray paint my plasti dipped emblems?

I Plasti dipped my S U B A R U and WRX emblems on my trunk. But now I want them to be orange to match my rims. So can I just tape up my trunk and spray paint them orange? Anyone do this before?

I would say get a sheet of plastic and tape off as much as possible. Last thing you would want is overspray on your paint.

3M adhesive. There is tape that works really well that's made by them.

it is easier overall and less time consuming to remove them and reattach them

I agree with removing them. For reattaching just use 3M double sided tape, they have one that is gray with a red backing they make specifically for cars.

I know this is no use to you, but how did you plastidip and rip off the overspray without the whole plastidip ripping off?
