Default oil filter adapter plate

I can't seem to find any posts about this but does anyone know for sure if a m20-1.5 oil filter adapter plate will work on a 07 2.5i, I do know that it works with wrx/sti's

All EJ motors take the same oil filter, so if it works on one, it should work on another.

What do you want an oil filter adapter plate for?

Not that I really need it but the other week my friends car was totaled and he gave me his oil temperature, pressure and boost gauge along with that adapter plate, thought id just give it a go for the hell of it without the boost gauge since I know it would only be a vacuum

Gotcha.

The only thing I'd be concerned with is the direction the wires/tubes come out of it.

Next time I change my oil im going to test it out just to get an idea, he also gave me an oil relocation kit but I wasn't planning on using it

The good thing is they're all digital prosport gauges that are just wires, the sender for the pressure would be the only real problem that it sticks straight out from the plate but the plus on that is the plate has four ports and can also be mounded in any direction

on my 07 ej253 i did just this. there is plenty of room to mount the prosport sending units as long as you have the clock angle right. i can take a pic if you can't get yours to clear something.

p.s. i ran the sending unit wires up along the back of the fan housing with the fan wires. used all the same hold downs and clamps for a clean invisible install.
