Default 04 WRX headers on 08 2.5i

My 2008 base model Impreza finally has the Subaru Rumbles. What do you guys think of it?

I personally feel stupid driving a loud vehicle that has so little horsepower. Sounds good, but makes you look retarded when a Prius walks you like you're on a tricycle.

If you like it that's all that matters

I don't know what you're talking about a Prius walking me when I haven't experienced any power loss at all. The only reason why I feel slow now is the fear of flooring it and making the rumbles loud with a cop that's hiding. I'd rather have a base model Subaru packing 175HP and 170lbs of torque, than a top model Civic SI with 160HP and 120lbs of torque.

Your car weighs significantly more and has different gearing and AWD. The civic has like 10% lower parasitic drivetrain loss.

Stock regular civic will walk your car like a GT-R vs a city bus.

I don't know about the regular Civic part. They pack only 120HP and 90lbs of torque with no VTEC (unless if you're talking about 8th generation Civic and newer ones that actually had VTEC). Used to own an '02 Civic LX and the thing was really slow. I do miss my Civic though, it was more fun slipping and sliding everywhere in the New England winter than my Subaru.
