Default Tuning a 2003 2.5RS

I just installed a UEL header and a cat back exhaust on my beautiful 2.5RS lol. Anyways I am looking to tune it, as I want to get the most ponies I can out of her, for the new mods. I looked to some of the major companies to reflash the ECU but no one does this on an RS. If anyone has done this already on their 2003 RS let me know who was able to do this.

You will need either a piggyback or standalone ECU. Unfortunately, the 04 and older ECU's were locked but the 05 and newer can be open source tuned.

The E-manage, S-AFC and PP6 were a few of options to use as a piggyback.

Crawford DOES in fact do reflashes for the Jecs ECU's.

Kinda pricey, but will give you a few extra "ponies".

I have contacted Crawford directly and they do not offer a tune for the 03 rs. Their site says they do but I was told otherwise.

Now that you mention that, it does not say 2003's.

Oh well, may be time for you guys to run an earlier model ecu.

That's weird. Wonder what the difference between the 02 and 03 is? I have an 02 with an SRS30 reflash
