Default 2002 Subaru WRX *Blown Timing Belt* WISCONSIN/ILLINOIS

My Subaru recently blew the timing belt. I am told that there is no way to know the extent of the damage until you take the motor apart, but since I was only going 30MPH when it broke there is very little chance that there is major internal damage. The car does not run as it sits right now, it will need to get towed away. Mechanics or anyone that knows there way around an engine can either have a super cheap WRX once its fixed or make some money selling it once its fixed.

RA transmission put in 5K miles ago (Short Ratio "Racing Application" had 40K on it when it was put in)
New Exedy Stage 1 Clutch put in 5K miles ago
New fly wheel put in 5K miles ago
STI Intercooler
HKS Hi-Power Turbo-Back Exhaust
Super Sequential Blow Off Valve
Tein Springs with Tokiko Blue Struts (its a very mild lowering)
AEM Intake
Front Brakes with in the last 15K
4 New tires with the the last 20K
Hid Fogs- The yellow ones

The bad:
Doesn't Run- Blown Timing Belt
Small rust bubble on passenger side rear 1/4 panel
2 Small dents on driver side passenger door (I was carrying something and the door didnt close all the way and I hip-checked it a little too hard.)

I want to try to sell the whole car as a parts car but if i get enough people that want parts of the car to make enough money i will part it out.

PRICE: $4,000 obo

I'd be interested in the STI top mount. I'm in NW suburbs of Chicago, so we might be able to meet up.

If you are not parting out at this time please use the Vehicles for Sale section.
Should you decide to part it out later, you can start a new thread here specifically for that purpose.
