Default Possible Interest in Photographer for rare antique vehicle pics

Hi SCIC, my family has a very rare (one of two known to exist) antique cars. This one in particular is a Pebble Beach 1st in class winner (among a laundry list of awards). I've been debating having someone take high quality pictures of it for some time now. Just to keep for posterity.

Is anyone out there in SCIC land that would want the opportunity to shoot pics? I wouldn't expect to pay for the pictures but in return we will allow you to use them as examples of you're work.

Thought I'd put this out there in-case anyone might be interested. Please PM with details if this post interests you. Thanks in advance!

I posted this in the event someone in the NASIOC community had an interest in photography & would like the chance to shoot a high end vehicle. Usually these type of cars are only in Museums or out of reach in personal collections. How silly it was of me to reach out to our Subaru community thinking anyone would bother to care.

Thanks for the continuing the SCIC tradition.

High end photos and free don't go hand in hand. You can't blame the SCIC community because of your unrealistic requests.

Take your car up to a local Cars and Coffee event. There are plenty of amateur photographers attending those events who are trying to get their names out. They would love for a chance to get a 1-on-1 session with your cars. I'm serious.

That's a great suggestion, I'll see about taking it out. It would be a great drive either way. When I say "high quality" I'm mostly talking about high resolution. I don't expect someone to take 500 pictures and spend hours in light-room adjusting them. Had I expected someone to do that, it would be asking a lot. I don't think that my original post is unreasonable.

I had a coworker a while back meet me one day and take shots of my Brat. Bought him lunch & dropped some cash for his travel costs. He went above and beyond by providing some nice shots as well as photo editing.
