Default 2004 Outback LTD swap

Has anyone swapped an Sti or WRX engine/tranny into an 04 Outback LTD? Do I need to do any cutting or welding to fit the engine/tranny?

Just wanted to check before I buy the car.

all the major stuff will bolt right in. i put an 06 in a 98, all bolt in.
