safe bet the answer is no.

seeing that we don't have turbos, we would not have the up pipe, or downpipe on our car. The catback section would need a custom pipe made to mate it to our header.

not to mention 3" piping would more than likely hurt performance rather than help, plus your new custom pipe would need to bridge from the stock outlet size up to 3"

wrong exhaust for an NA.

From basic reading didn't you at least deduce that 1. You don't have a turbo 2. Don't need nor could accommodate a down pipe 3. Don't need nor could accommodate an up pipe 4. This exhaust is made for a WRX or STI an you have a 2.5i

The only part of that exhaust that would work for you is the catback portion and you would need to modify that to work.

I JUST got a 2002 Impreza Outback Sport (2.5L).

I'm not really looking for a full performance exhaust.
Mild increase would be nice, but just kind of wondering what my options are for a stock replacement? There's an exhaust leak (behind the cat I think?).

none.

UEL header might give you something, but not worth the trouble.

There are so few EL headers out there that if you find one, either it's 10 years old (like mine) or it's in seriously rough shape.

My EL is an old brullen from maybe 98 or 99, to get it to fit to my 07, meant extending both 02 wires and all sorts of other small issues, I probably would not do it again if I had the choice.

Catback doesn't do a whole lot on the NA subaru in my experience. Mostly for sound.

the apexi is loud and obnoxious.

I'm kind of new to the whole car thing, but what's an EL header?

I have a prodrive axleback paired with a custom midpipe because my stock one rotted off.

My suggestion, get an axleback of your choice and have a shop weld it on for $75. You can even have them make a catback out of it for probably another $100-150. Cheap and effective. Sound is mostly dependent on the muffler, but also headers too. Ebay borla reps are very common because people want the UEL sound.

Stick with piping a little larger than stock.
