Removing cam gears broken timing belt
So I have a broken timing belt. I read on the site, you are supposed to keep the belt on in order to remove the cams. What could I do in my situation to remove the cams? So far I have tried vice grips and a rag with a breaker bar and the vice grips aren't holding the shaft too well. ANy help would be much appreciated.

Search for "cam" and my user name, I wrote something up sort of recently.
Basically, put a big wrench on your cam to keep it from turning. |

used this method last week, works like a charm, all you need is an old timing belt. |
