Question WRX resale value?

I recently moved and brought my 9 month old WRX from the US. The car was so new they did not have current stats in their lil' red book so they estimated and I was hit with tax & duty based on a ~$30000C resale value. Anyone know the recent selling price for 2002 WRX wagon with ~22000kms?

I am not looking to sell my car - I love it - but might enjoy recouping some of the bucks from Revenue Canada...

Can't tell you but you could do a search on autotrader.ca

The wagon goes for $35000 Cdn here but includes heated seats and roof crossbars. I think $30K for your used one sounds in the ballpark.

Blk book Value (wholesellers) for a 2002 WRX Wagon

X-clean - $28000
clean - $27500
average - $26500
rough - $25500

add $1000 for auto transmission....

I don't have the redbook value cause when I did the photocopy of the redbook, someone asked me about the 2000 Impreza... On the black book, it still had it cause it was on the same page in the blk book....

$30k seems fair.....

There was a private sale in the Calgary Herald recently that was asking $31,500.
