Default Crotch rocket hit me and tried to run

So today after work, I was cruising up to the lake with some friends to enjoy the nice day. Out of no where this CBR that was behind me and two other friends decides to try and pass us. He comes up next to me at about 80 and realizes he's coming in too hot and locks the rear brakes and gets the rear end squirrley and clips my front bumper.

He then tries to take off. After chasing him for a mile he finally gives up and pulls over. Luckily there wasn't much damage and the bumper popped back in.

I happened to catch it all on my GoPro.

Well there was no cell reception where we pulled over because it's a road up to a lake. I made him give me his drivers license and I copied down all the info off of it. The carbon fiber piece that fell off is all scratched up but that's minor. He pulled $80 out of his pocket to give to me and I was fine with that.

But they were all pulled over by the highway patrol a few miles down the road after they left us.

that guy must suck i would never let someone keep up with me if i were on my R6. And proved that by passing a car that i am sure wasnt just going slow as hell too late into a curve and not being able to slow down in time. What an idiot though he was luck too image if he clipped you on the front bumper and fell off 2 feet in front of you and you could have just ran him over!! good luck with the situation hope everything gets fixed.

Look at that flatspot down the center of the tire:

(hint: it's a sign that he only uses the throttle when upright.. this is bad)

Check out the body positioning here as he nearly runs off the road (after clipping a car, no less):

(hint: he should be leaning with the bike.)

Then there's the way he slows way down for the corners and takes horrible lines through them.

He's a squid that has no idea how to ride.

Obviously that guy is a novice rider, atleast he didnt wipe out and do serious damage to your ride. I would have been hot though since he ran.... pretty ballsy move when you cant ride your own get away bike. He was riding that thing extremely upright....

The guy was obviously a novice rider. That road has a 35mph speed limit for a reason because it's a narrow windy mountain road with lots of technical sections and somewhere he definitely shouldn't have been. Pair that with the fact that i know that road VERY well because I ride my Ninja through there periodically, there was no escaping!

I was able to keep my cool but trust me I was ready to bash some heads. He was apologizing like crazy and when I told him he's lucky to be alive, he then pulls out the military "card" saying that he went to Iraq, blah blah blah and that he would have been fine. Like I said, the damage to the car was minimal.

Here's where the camera is mounted:
