Default Stupid question about flashes and batteries. quick answer I am sure

So I had to disconnect my battery for a clutch install. Do I need to reflash my Stage I map or is it fine? Haven't driven yet, just want to do it before I leave the shop. Because, just because....Thanks guys. If my understanding is correct I shouldn't because the new map is saved into the ecu correct?

Your reflashed map remains regardless. You could pull the engine control unit (ECU) out of the car, leave it on a shelf for a year, and the reflashed tune will still be there. The real-time tune, however, will be cleared when you disconnect the battery, reflash a new map, or reset the ECU via the AccessPORT (or software). This is only relevant if you were actually running a real-time tune (that is different that the reflashed map). If you weren't, it doesn't matter.
