Default If i buy my WRX in canada,, can i still get warrenty work done in the US.. heres why

well,, the closest subaru dealer is 2 hours away from me,, and i live right across the border from detroit, so it would be a hell of a lot easier to drive 10 min,, rather then 2 hours.. So im just wondering if i can get my car serviced, and warrenty work done on it if i live in canada and goto the US. the wrx will be bought in canada.

You should try posting this in some of the Canadian forums, since I'm sure that Canada's laws and and SOC's warranty terms and conditions are different than those in the US.

But there are likely many similarities, so I'll explain how things would work under SoA's warranty (since I don't have access to SoC's warranty T&Cs).

You're required to perform periodic maintenance, at your own expense, to maintain the warranty, but are not required to have that maintenance done at an SoA-authorized dealer. So you take your car to the most convenient shop to have maintenance done.

For warranty repairs, you're required to take the car to a SoA-authorized dealer, anywhere in the U.S.. But, there is an "emergency" exception:
