Default Coolingmist VC2 Pro Failsafe 06 WRX install / review

Ok, So i've had a real long install on my 2006 WRX and wanted to share some info to help other people with perhaps the same issue. i purchased this kit from Coolingmist :

I also ordered the Failsafe box to come with it so i run it safely.

Searching on their website for installation instructions was a nightmare. Use the one on the page that i ordered the kit from and it gets you completely no where! I basically had to put together a few i found from here and there on how to exactly wire the thing because of so many variations and applications.

Nevertheless i finally got the kit installed and tuned this past weekend. good results on power and how it feels now, but for some reason this kit wanted to trip the failsafe every time we boosted.

So we disconnected the failsafe wire (yellow to test connector; shown in the next pdf i post) And im not on failsafe modes. But i couldnt figure out why this wire was grounding! So i looked thru all their documents and came to nothing. Magic google and viola!

This explains how to set the further params 13-18 to make sure your box doesnt ground out the whole time! why cant their website just have a good pdf page? anyway i hope this link helps people from scratching their head for weeks like i did.

The VC2 pro Failsafe kit is a good clean install and works nicely, but some bad reviews from me:
~the controller was mounted upside down from the wires (the pointed to the right when the hole for the trunk mount is on the left) so i had to unscrew it, and re route wires and put it back together
~They never returned my phone calls
~Instructions/pdfs are hard to find and read for the specific version you order

But in the end, i got what i wanted. A smooth water meth kit for the WRX. I can post pics up if anyone interested sometime.
