Default Newb to the STI

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to Subarus and I am sure that I am going to have tons of questions.

I have been building and selling rock crawlers for over 10 years and decided that it was time for a new hobby.

I picked up a babied, adult owned 2005 WRX STI with 88K on the clock. It only has the SPT intake and exhaust on it and has never been messed with.

I paid $20,000 for it, which after shopping around it was what I would think to be a good deal, as there is not a scratch on the car.

I guess I should say that I have been building/buying/selling crawlers - not tube buggies and nothing really outrageous though. LOL

Bought this one and played with it a little

My favorite motor ever. I had an 82 4x4 with a holly carb, 2" lift and 31x10.5. Was amazing till I broke the frame jumping it. I got an 85 2x4 with a 22r and had same carb installed and a 4spd. Good freaking times.

That is correct - I sold it to fund the STI - it was an 8Ball - 106ci 6sp transmission - great ride. I really like how comfortable the Victorys are.

So the Cobb AP-SUB-002 will be here in days.
I have gone with the FEAL Suspension Rebuilt/Revalved Struts and they should also be here soon.
I also have added the Hella horns.

NEXT: Down Pipe. Anyone got one that they want to get rid of???
