If that comparison were true here, I'd probably be out hunting for a Cayman. But when I look, five year old Caymans are $10K+ more than a brand new BRZ.

I'm not sure what is going with Caymans over here but there are two 2006 Cayman S on Craigslist for sale at just $30K (one of them has only 38K miles on the odo, the other has 59K miles). I have no idea how reliable these cars really are but $30K seems reasonable.

Around here a Cayman S ~70K miles and 5 years old costs $30K. Combined with expensive upkeep...I'd rather spend that on a BRZ and buy a new Cayman when I can afford it.
