Default UTEC - when it goes to MAP based

when the map sensor tuning version of the UTEC comes out...will it be a software upgrade, hardware upgrade, or new hardware?

I'm not exactly sure I understand the question you are asking, but assuming you are asking if any hardware is required to run without a MAF, the answer is no. It will be a software change only.

In it's current form, the UTEC uses MAP as the load reference, but still uses the MAF signal for fuel tuning. Call us toll free at 877.887.2679 if you still have questions.
