If Subaru does it, they need to ditch the two rear seats and make it a proper roadster like the article mentioned. Hopefully the base power increases by the time the convertible hits the scene.

Those seats would have to go. A proper roadster would be nice. Wouldn't they have to shorten the car if they got rid of the rear seats? Silly question, but I'm too tired to figure out how they would fill the gap left from no rear seats.

No shortening.. rear sear area would be where the convertible folds into so they probably won't intrude the trunk space... they will make it have more manliness then the mx5.
