Default 2013 subaru wrx to sti motor swap

Ok to start off my 2013 subaru wrx motor just blew up on me and subaru wants 14000 for a whole new motor and a tuner in red deer alberta quotes 12000 for them to do the same so I was thing about a sti engine swap I could pick up a engine for used 6000 but I don't know what else I would need for the swap , ecu, wiring etc if you guys could help me that on what all I would need that would help me make my decision on what route to go thanks

Why not get your current engine rebuilt? Either to factory specs or forged internals?
I'd take your engine to a competent builder to child to see if it's an option. If it isn't, you can buy a built short block from many of the vendors here along with possibly your refreshed heads(if they can be) or some other used second hand refreshed heads. Might come out cheaper
