Default Differential question

I have searched. Trust me.

15 months ago I blew my rear diff and had it replaced by subaru. It has been perfect since. Last night my car began making a very similar noise. Loud unbearable grinding upon decelleration. It sounds like its coming from somewhere between my cupholder and the rear seat. I have been running coilovers for about one month, figured you should know.

I've found dudes discussing things from pinion bearings, to blown differentials, to grenaded trannys, to pilot drives, to STi 6 speed swaps. nonsense

I'm calling the local subaru dealership in the morning, not looking forward to it. Can anyone offer a bit of advice? BY THE WAY, I changed my gear oil in the front and rear today.
Front was still brand new from the differential replacement 15 months ago..... Rear seemed a little dirty and "grey" looking. But no pieces of metal

Looking for some info

1. Wrong forum.
2. If you are taking it to the dealer anyway, there is no reason for use to second guess or lead you down the wrong alley.
3. Your description could mean you have a blown rear, trans, center or any number of things.
