Default mud flaps diy ?

there are several wright up on diy flaps. has any one tried to build them? if so what did you use for a template? has any one used this before? http://www.scoobymods.com/showthread...&highlight=mud
and any ideas on mats or where to get them? i love the looks of the rally armor flaps but they cost so much. i cant seem to work out the math on why. any advise?

While I agree the RA flaps can get expensive, I can't help but think that anything you can make yourself won't last as long. I've had my RA's for almost 2 years and they still look OK.

I went to a truck supply store, bought one mudflap, I think its way better than the ikea route. $20 for the flap, just cut it up, you can always trim it down.
