Default Random wire (pre owned 2006 wrx tr)

Under my shift boot panel, I found a a mysterious 6 feet of coiled up gray wire with a black switch on one end and the other end going behind my pedals and through the firewall. I followed it to the exit of the firewall and down to my transmission area. A little past my transmission and onto my frame it stops, held up by zip ties. There is a connector on the end hanging 7 inches from the ground, but there is no other thing in sight to connect to. What do you think it went to? My guess is under glows.

The first tread didn't get enough traction so you thought you would make a second about this mystery wire?

The first thread was more of a joke. This is a serious thread.

Looks like an exhaust cutout type molex connection, but could be anything. Mine had a connector like that and the wires had a grey sheath.
