Default Perrin Header and Grimmspeed Ewg Uppipe, Bad Fitment???

Hey Guys, Im hoping someone can chime in and help me out with my situation. I just installed a Perrin equal lentgh header on my 2003 Subaru wrx along with a Grimmspeed 38mm Ewg uppipe. Now when i follow the install instructions from Grimmspeed for the Uppipe I end up with the Uppipe being about one inch away from mating correctly to the uppipe bracket that comes off the motor! Also the flex pipe is Really close to my cylinder head, pretty much touching! I havnt contacted Grimmspeed yet But i will be calling them in the morning. Not sure If anyone has ever encountered this before???

Twin Turbo!

sometimes those flex sections have to settle in with heat. you may have to put the screw driver through one end then draw it up...

I would also suggest not bolting it up to the turbo until you've tightened it to the header, just slide the uppipe on the studs...

post a pic
