Default Exhaust Wrap ripped off while driving, everything is fine right?

so I bought a Tsudo exhaust and of course it had fitment issues and rattling so I wrapped some exhaust wrap around sections of the mid pipe to muffle the rattling as it was hitting the underside of the car.

Well FF and im driving and feel/hear this loud bump like I ran over a pot hole.

Found out today that it looks like the exhaust wrap got lose and caught something and ripped itself off. That bump i felt/heard was my exhaust getting yanked down. I have no idea what the wrap got caught on (it was on the freeway) and there is zero debris under the car and nothing wrapped around any bits down there.

Thing is...my exhaust seems to have given itself clearance. No more bits hitting the underside, no audible leaks, all hangars look good, downpipe mounting looks normal nothing looks bent.

I am guessing the hard yank just made the exhaust adjust at the flex sections?

Well fitment is excellent now. lol

Default

heat cycles 'adjusted' it from your borked install

if you install the wrap PER INSTRUCTIONS...and then wrap the wrap with some HD aluminum foil---you CAN cut a long roll into 2" lengths .....and then wrap THAT with some aluminum tape....

it will do several things.....including making it last a lot longer

also....always wrap from the BACK to the front....yes there IS a reason
