Default atpGtx3582r opinons

I was wondering if anybody had used this turbo and what kind of Torque and hp curves they had.

My target hp is 450

engine size is 2.5l

using garrets calculators i got an air mass flow of 56lb/min and a target boost pressure of 24psig

looking at the gtx3582r compressor map puts my airflow and boost pressure at a good point of the graph.

Seeing as atp makes this turbo in a stock location it seems like a pretty prime candidate but i couldnt find much feedback for it around the subaru community.

Any feedback would be appreciated. thanks in advance

GT35R 530whp @ 27psi


For like the 5,000th time on these forums, that is a compressor map for a GT3582.

A GTX3582 is an entirely different turbo and entirely too large for what you are trying to do. There will be lag. A good amount of it. See map below.

What you want is a GTX3076R - like this:

wow, that GTX3582 flows a chit ton of air at ~28 psi!
