2005 LGT

Default Shock/Strut/Spring help?

I have a 2005 LGT that has completetly run flat on the suspension, at over 110k miles, and am looking at replacing the stock shocks/struts/springs. I want something a little better/lower than stock but am not wanting to step into coilover territory in regards install or most definatley price. Any ideas on parts, packages, who to purchase from, and price? Please offer any and all ideas.

I don't know if you ever got the help you need, and you'll find much more help here:

but here goes.

If you don't want to go coilovers, the two main options (and really the best unless you want to spend 1400+ or so on good coilovers) is going bilstein or koni shocks. You can use your stock springs if you aren't sure how much harsher of a ride you want and change it out later or you can just do a lot more research now. You can see some general prices for both here:

Keep in mind that the koni front shocks are only the guts, you'll have to cut apart your factory shocks and use them to house the koni inserts. You can usually find someone getting rid of their factory fronts though for 50-100. Any more than that is too much. There are plenty of walkthroughs and more info over on the legacygt.com forums.
