Default Need Some Clutch Help

So the clutch on my '99 LGT is not being cooperative. I replaced it and drove it for two weeks before it became so unforgiving that I could no longer change gears.

Tried bleeding the system, this didn't work. Tried replacing slave cyldiner, this didn't work. Tried bleeding, again nothing. Tried replacing master cylinder and bleeding, still nothing. Finally, tried replacing clutch hose and of course, bleeding the system and I just can't get any pressure back. The trans. won't go into gear and the clutch pedal will not return to position.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Default legacy clutch problems

What was the solution to your problem? My 1999 legacy gt did the same thing.

In both cases, what clutch?
Did you do the whole clutch, including the TO bearing?
Did you clean & lube the input shaft?

An OEM style clutch should be easy.
An aftermarket, like the ACT Street CLutch, can be harder. I have used & installed a number of the ACT clutches and they have a very low pedal when the clutch engages. The last one I did in my 98 GT showed I needed a new master cylinder. Replaced it, bled the system and it's back to a normal low pedal.
