Default Scratches on Windows... please help!! thx

okay... so I HATE taking my car to get washed... i much rather wash it myself, buut.. i've been extremely busy lately and haven't had time, or it gets too late and is dark... anyway... during my lunch break i went to get my car washed, it wasn't until later in the evening i noticed a scratch on the INSIDE of my windshield... so i thoroughly examined my remaining windows.. found several other scratches.. some are very light, while the bad ones are on the back and front (only about 1-2")... so.. the only thing i can think is the car people picked up a rock in their rag, but i most definitely know they weren't there... is it worth going back to "try" to have them fix the scratches or just doing it myself? anyone know how to fix them?

please help.. thanks -PeaCHeS

Try jewelers rouge and a polish pad, wipe it off with ammonia then clean with window cleaner... If not coming out an it still drives u nuts gonna have to call a professional to do it or replace it.

Google cerium oxide. They sell kits that you can use with your drill. However, there are potential issues when polishing glass including optical distortion that could be even more bothersome than the original scratch. I also would be more hesitant to use these products on the interior side.

Personally, I would consult a professional as suggested and/or address the issue with the management at the car wash facility.
