I can appreciate the amount of work it involves, but this style of widebody is just not for me.
I do like the trunk lid spoiler though.

^^this

I have seen this on Igram, and I totally need to see it painted. Also on a car with a wing please, as I prefer this body style with a wing. I do appreciate the effort as it looks like a costly kit...

Like 99.5% of "widebody" cars you see on here, it looks like crap.

Maybe it's just me, but I never understood the concept of a wide body on a car that is already the wide body version of something else.

Granted some of them look great as show cars, and I love them even more on a track.

But it just looks weird to me sometimes. Like those new Ford dual-axle trucks with a round fender flare overtop a box fender.

Edit: guess I'd rather see something more subtle like stated above. Preferably a full panel replacement. Some of these "bolt on" kits just look bad.

Maybe it's my old age speaking but, I don't see how this could be appealing to anyone but I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion whether it's wrong or not.

absolutely not, that has no function what so ever. It looks like you tried to take Bruce Jenner into some kind of transformer that he is now. The rocketbunny fad is just dumb as ****. So is putting on spacers because you're too cheap to buy a wheel with the right offset.

Would love to see a not so exaggerated version of the white wrx widebody kit with smoother lines of attachment, but I just couldn't justify the cost and work that would be involved on an already widish body

Heres some pics of the Subaru Rally Team's Global Rally Cross car. I thought it looked pretty nice. Unfortunately no details were given on the wide body. It was only described as "composite"

Where this one succeeds and the others fail miserably is that they carry the body lines all the way to the corners of each bumper. The others try to blend the wide body into the factory width bumper. To do a wide body right, you need to widen both bumpers and the ENTIRE wheel well needs to be wider to fully cover the wheel. You can't just leave it open in the back. That looks silly.

Came across this dude's STi iG: shivy_shiv

Wasn't too much of a fan of the "rocket bunny" style... Especially on some other cars... But I've gotta say, it seems to work here...(imo, ofc).
