Have a Nice Day? Rough Idle and Suspension suggestions.

I've noticed my 02 wrx wagon has been having rough idles lately. Usually after driving around for 10+ miles. I would park in neutral and after a few minutes the idle would start to get rough I could feel the engine almost choke out. it would drop 200-300 rpms and would jump back up to 800-900 rpms. A recently changed the engine filter though I wouldn't think that would be the cause. Over the winter I did research. I found out my model has defected fuel lines, apparently the rubber would shrink in extreme cold causing fuel seepage. I could smell it in my cab. Subaru dealership told me they recalled that recall basical (different story). Anyways, what could the rough idle be? I speculate it might be the fuel pressure, anyone have any ideas?

I've been researching suspension for quite sometime and I have the denero's to purchase. I have an 02 wrx wagon. Ive been looking at the AGX adjustable strut-spring combo on Amazon/Ebay etc. Also the Tokico strut-spring combo aswell. With my research Ive came across many different opinions and supposed facts. Ranging from the AGX's only fit the sedans and are only designed to fit with the model specific stock springs, or else you would have to swap top hats, camber plates etc. Thats too much hassle for me. Also the tokico's are supposedly stock spring specific aswell. I really would like to purchase the kyb's theyre relatively cheap for the performance gain over stock im looking for. Any 02 wrx wagon owners have any opinions as to which suspension combo I should look into and or if they managed to install any of these two with what modifications? I wanted to buy the spring combo set with the M2 lowering springs is that a nay or yay? Im looking for a drop but nothing crazy. But really I just need a good suspension set up. Thanks.

Regarding your rough idle, I would check the following:

- MAF sensor
- Spark plugs/coilpacks
- Front o2 sensor
- Fuel injectors
- Perform vacuum leak test

I would also recommend a compression test, my car was doing the same as yours. I later found out that I burnt a valve.
