Default JDM Parts Sourcing

Hi
I am running a JDM 2007 Forester EJ205 in a Porsche 914. I am trying to add an air conditioning compressor as I live in the desert, not sure which compressor it uses. I sent to the wrecking yard to find a mock up unit, it does not appear to be the same unit as on a WRX. Any suggestions?

My first thought was to try to find US WRX brackets, are they interchangeable?
Thanks
Ed

I bet the AC bracket you have appears to mount a compressor with a smaller (than USDM WRX) bolt spacing. I had the same thing happen with my JDM SOHC install.

Just get the bracket assembly from a USDM WRX it will bolt up to your block. As you were thinking. Make sure you get the smaller lower bracket with the larger bracket.
