Default low compression

just did a compression test on my 98 impreza OBS 2.2l. here are my results. cyl1. 137 cyl2. 105 cyl3. 137 cyl4. 83... the compression test was done cold as im trying to diagnose other issues. any thoughts on whats going that is causing my low compression? and how it would effect it running?

You should try the test at operating temp, also do a wet compression test and compare the differences. The specs are somewhere between 170-180psi. From the numbers you posted it looks like your losing compression on the driver side cylinders, could be a head gasket starting to fail, worn rings, vavles not seating flush, there are many variables, but we need more info from your end
