Default Poll: would you work for Subaru, or Porsche?

I might have the opportunity to go to Porsche's factory training school in Atlanta when I graduate in August....decisions, decisions...

Default Definately Porsche......

Unless Subaru offered to send you to Japan.....Then I'd say Subaru, cause the farther away you are the better

Porsche is the ultimate automobile, IMNERHO.

Of course, I'd want to work in their media department since that's where I'd fit in. Not a wrench. No sir. Could never do it.

Why did you even need to think about this?

I asked my roommates and in less then a second everyone of them answered in unison, "PORSCHE!!!!".

are you going to be a tech?

if so, your job would be easy at subaru. all you'd have to say is, "yeah it's broken, but your warranty work is invalidated by xxx part"

naw, go with porsche!

Hey Scott,

When I had that choice to make I chose Mercedes-Benz over BMW and Porsche. While I may prefer the other car lines, I chose to work for the company that made sense money wise. The city you want to work in makes a big difference as well. If there are plenty of Porsches that will need to be worked on it, go for it. Same goes for Subaru. Also consider that most of the time you're not going to be doing performance modification work at a dealer. Go where you'll turn hours, make money and be happy. Just a couple things to think about. Are you in school at the moment? UTI in Houston? Take care and good luck!
