Default Whiteline ALK and RCA 08+ WRX install

First off i'd like to say its been a long day.

worked on my car at first then finished and installed coiled for a Speed3.

This thread is just for installation and review for 2008-2010 STI / 2008-2013 WRX

Stock suspension

When i was working on the ALK it seemed pretty straight forward. Press Bushing out put new one in. The pressing of the old one was a pain in the ass ended up having to saw the side to the metal sleeve and chisel it out.

after installing the bushings i had gone to put the bushing and tapered crush tube i aligned it with bolt and took control with both the bushings on top and bottom.

Somewhere in the middle of doing all this i decided to install my RCA (Roll Center kit) tie rods and ball joints.

Tie rods were kind of a pain cause you had to turn the tie rod and the bolt at the same time to loosen it but not move the bolt (remember to mark)

What was more of a pain in the ass was taking off the hub and all the bananas that was going on w the steering knuckle to get to removing the ball joint.

*note* when take out the bolt for the ball joint take a chisel or a screwdriver and loosen in between the pressure that holds the ball joint. after loosening it a bit find a smaller screwdrive to try and push it out and pry it out. PATIENCE!

Be very careful when relieving stress to remove the ball joint not to crack the mounting of the screw mount for the ball joint.

My left side came out fine my right side i had a hairline crack on the ball joint bolt mount. we torqued it down it seemed fine so we left it at that. (ordering a new one soon)

i haven't really tested the drive and feel but just making a quick note to those who do this mod.

coils will be in soon and i will check things over again and post pics. good night i hope you had a good read and i'll revise if anyone has thoughts and opinions
